We research ways to represent architectural reasoning, calculations and design expression as knowledge AI can execute. Our work aims to retain an organization’s expertise securely and make it reusable across projects.
We research how reasoning, calculation methods and representation techniques expressed in design conversations can become reusable algorithms and programs. We are developing a cycle that connects a secure organizational library with reuse in new projects, so each conversation can add to the design knowledge AI can execute for that organization.
Our research and development turns architectural methods, including volume calculations, evacuation analysis and area calculations, into tools AI can execute. We are combining this reusable tool library with specialist AI for building services, structural design and landscape.

We research the comprehensive collection and structuring of project-relevant regulations, from Japan’s Building Standards Act and Enforcement Order to urban plans and local ordinances. This includes organizing relationships between provisions, conditions of application and sources, and interpreting them against a project’s location, use and scale.
This technology supports research and planning during design. It does not issue decisions for building confirmation or regulatory review.
